Historically, the Big Horn
Mountains produce some of the
best hunt trophies and the
highest mature bull elk ratios in
the state. There is a real buzz in
the elk hunting community about
the quality of trophy bull elk in
the Big Horns. Our area is
quickly becoming the #1 region
in the state to hunt for Monster
Bull Elk. The elk hunts we guide
are in the nations very best elk
country. Prime elk herds with
trophy bulls combined with our
knowledge of the country and
our guiding skills offer you the
best hunt available.
Trophy elk rifle season runs
from the 15th of October through
November 4th. If you've never
hunted elk in the Wyoming Big
Horn's, this is an unbelievable
experience. We have a strict 6x or
better policy to ensure the future
quality of our hunts. During the
first of the season, the herd bulls
are winding down from the rut, we
are still utilizing calling techniques
which are very effective at this
time. As we get deeper into the
season, the mature bulls begin to
pull off the cows and group into
small herds of bulls. We know
where these big boys go when the
heat is on. Over the many years,
our guides have located the honey
hole areas where these bulls
relocate, after the breeding
season. The rifle season is a spot
and stalk hunt that is very effective.

that score in the 300"-420" range.

Our archery season opens on Sept. 1
and runs to the end of the month. If
you enjoy chasing rutting elk, this is go
time. Our archery hunts take place
within our 200 square mile lease.
