Fly fishing the rivers and creeks around Ten Sleep, Wyoming is our passion. As locals, we have gained access to a number of private ranches and the creeks that meander through meadows and hay fields. All these streams have a different flavor. All hold fish, predominantly browns and rainbows. Some hold greater numbers of fish with an average size in the 13-16 inch range while other streams offer consistent shots at 18”+. All these streams are postcards and rarely fished. These creeks and streams offer the quintessential Western small stream, private ranch experience, perfect for 2-3 days of fishing for a weekend getaway.

This is Western walk-and-wade fishing at its best. This means shorter leaders, larger flies and a stealthy, but non-technical approach. While these streams only see minimal pressure, the trout (especially big trout) are intrinsically wary.
